I was born and raised in the "Speedway" (District 3). Graduated from William Tennent High School, got married at 21, and bought my first house in Bala Cynwyd.
While working in the corporate world, my husband and I decided to buy a childrens' clothes and uniforms business in Northeast Philadelphia. Within 5 years of owning the business, we bought a commercial building and a rental property in Manayunk.
My parents' health was a concern. In 2002, we moved back to Warminster to buy my parents' home and built an in-law suite for them. My mom "Lee" has lived here since 1962. She is my all-time hero!
I have raised three children. All three graduated from William Tennent, two from MBIT, and currently one from BCCC.
I'm retired from the retail business and currently managing rental properties.
I've been a widow for 5 years. I am the main breadwinner for my family and I have maintained all financial records for my household.
My professionalism stems from retail, light bookkeeping (from owning a business for 20+ years), being an executive secretary, and being an all-around fun person!
I'm deeply concerned for our future in Warminster and wish to see it prosper for all future generations.
